A very good day to you. I'm Marco. A specialist Dutch freelance copywriter, living in a little village near Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Right on the boundary between city, tulips, beach and cheese . My English is pretty fluent, but I am a native Dutch speaker.

Focus on Dutch copy

My focus is mainly on creating copy for various businesses and publishers. Since the founding of Beentjes Teksten in 2002, I have worked on assignment for an diverse range of brands, advertising agencies, publishers and communication agencies in the Amsterdam region. From automotive to health care and from B2B to retail. I'm not going to dwell on names here: I think anyone is as good as his first next assignment. But Iguess you can call me a senior, both online and in print. Time flies when you’re having fun!

As a copywriter, I feel at home when adequate action is necessary. As soon as the head designers and concept creators wiggle their toes in excitement, champagne in hand, enjoying the birth of yet another successful idea. I am the worker bee, who understands what needs to be done and jumps into action. Someone who translates a virtuoso concept into catchy texts. Stand alone or in good collaboration with a team of colleague copywriters, designers, DTP-ers, printers and online specialists. I love working in a team, both coordinating and writing and am at my very best when the deadline is set.

Honest rate for Dutch copywriter in Amsterdam

You can hire me on a project basis or by the hour. My invoice will show a fixed copywriting rate of 85 euros per hour excluding VAT for 2026.
