About me

Hi, I’m Marco Beentjes.
I’ve been a professional copywriter and independent entrepreneur since 2002. Standing 2.07 metres tall and wearing size 50 shoes, I’ve spent more than 25 years taking giant steps to help businesses communicate their message clearly and effectively.
Over the years, I’ve worked with entrepreneurs and organisations in sectors ranging from automotive and healthcare to technology, marketing and business associations. My approach is simple: I keep asking questions until I fully understand the story behind the business. If I can understand clearly, your audience will understand it too. 
Along the way, my organisational skills have increasingly led me into roles as project manager and editor-in-chief, coordinating content projects and helping teams bring their ideas to life.

Completely Nuts
At the end of 2024, my wife and I were given the opportunity to take over an organic walnut farm in the beautiful Lot region of southern France. It was a life-changing decision that required careful thought. Not only were we taking on a new business, we were also moving from the Netherlands to France.
In the end, we decided to take the leap.
Since then, we’ve been living a dream we didn’t even know we had: spending more time outdoors, surrounded by nature, while building meaningful connections with the people around us.
Our 8.8-hectare organic walnut estate provides the backdrop for everything we do. We grow and distribute certified organic French walnuts for the Dutch market, while I continue to help international companies connect successfully with Dutch audiences through clear, convincing content.
My wife works as a trainer and coach, organising retreats on our estate. Through our farmhouse gîte, *La Chouette*, we also welcome guests who want to experience the active, healthy lifestyle that has become such an important part of our lives.

Will we do this forever? I honestly don’t know. But for now, I can’t imagine a more rewarding combination of work, nature and entrepreneurship.
